Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing ALLU products for various applications, including process improvement projects. The successful candidate will be required to lead project teams and manage projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
· Design and develop ALLU products
· Lead project teams and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
· Conduct design reviews and provide feedback on design proposals
· Conduct research to support product development and process improvement initiatives
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and designers
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans
· Conduct testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components
· Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
· Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques, including materials, mechanics
· Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks
· Experience with product development and process improvement projects
· Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead project teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to create technical documentation

Design Engineer, Hydraulics & Automation
Job Description
ALLU is looking for a dynamic and flexible Design Engineer to join our engineering team and manage hydraulic and automation systems. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional design solutions to our clients. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. If you have a can-do attitude and a passion for engineering, you are perfect match. Experience working with mobile work machines would be an advantage.However, this could also be excellent opportunity to kick start or grow your career.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop hydraulic solutions for ALLU products
- Integrate electronic and automation systems into products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure the successful integration of systems
- Troubleshoot and debug hydraulic, electronic, and automation issues as needed
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile hydraulics and automation
- Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic and automation systems to ensure they meet performance specifications.
- Provide technical support to customers and assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of automation control systems , hydraulic systems and their components, including motors, pumps, valves and cylinders
- Can update and create hydraulic diagrams and electrical drawings 2D and basic use of 3D CAD software
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for hydraulic and automation systems
- Sharp analytical skills and a can-do attitude dealing with fast changes and ability to work at a high pace.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
- Excellent analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in the construction, engineering or manufacturing industry sectors would be an advantage.
- The Role is based in our Office in Finland. You must be legally allowed to work within Finland.
