Keystone Drill Services Named ALLU Dealer

ALLU Group Inc. announced Keystone Drill Services Inc., with headquarters in Somerset, Pa., as its newest dealer of the ALLU Processor line. Keystone will provide sales, parts and service for ALLU’s power-mixer attachments to customers primarily in the western United States.

The ALLU Processor is a hydraulic power-mixer attachment that converts a conventional excavator into a powerful and versatile mixing tool capable of penetrating and effectively mixing a variety of difficult materials — everything from clay, silt, peat, sludge and sediment, to dredged material and contaminated soil, according to the manufacturer.

Applications for this tool include site remediation, soil stabilization and contaminated soil treatment.

Founded in 1985, Keystone Drill Services provides products and services to the oil and gas, foundation/construction, elevator shaft, water well, blast hole, ground engineering, industrial power plant, pipeline, horizontal boring and directional drilling industries. With a corporate philosophy of “24/7 service,” Keystone ensures that its customers have the ability to reach a qualified person at any time, according to the company.

ALLU Group Inc. Vice President Marketing Edison Rocha said, “The ALLU Processor line is a simple solution for a highly technical application, which requires knowledge of this application to help customers to succeed. We believe Keystone has the experience, knowledge, customer relations reputation and capacity to offer the support these customers need.”

“Keystone Drill Services, Inc., is extremely excited to be representing the ALLU Soil Stabilization quality lineup of equipment,” said Scott A. Slater, chief executive officer of Keystone Drill Services Inc.

“After meeting the ALLU personnel and seeing their equipment at the 2020 ConExpo-Con/AGG show, we all agreed that this niche product provides new opportunities for our customer base needs, and it coincides perfectly with the support of Keystone.”

Stepping Up Sustainability!

As well as improving efficiency in material processing, ALLU Transformer buckets help businesses transform their green credentials.

With ALLU Transformers excavated waste materials are transformed into valuable materials and reused on site instead of sending to landfill. Less transportation of materials, less fuel consumption, less landfill and recycling of waste materials are all steps that support environmental sustainability.

Substantial savings are also accomplished in the form of lower haulage costs and landfill fees. As the Transformers facilitate the more efficient utilisation of waste materials, the need to purchase replacement materials is reduced and recycling the left-over materials can generate an income.

Sorting and processing of green waste, compost materials and construction waste with ALLU will reduce environmental impact and improve the bottom line.

Efficient Material Processing Allu

Transformers are purpose built for efficient material processing by reducing the number of process steps needed and transforming waste into useable material. ALLU Transformer buckets provide a one-stop-shop process by transforming any carrier; excavator, wheel loader, skid steer etc. into a multifunctional tool that will screen, process, mix, aerate, pulverise and load – all in a one-step operation.

As the Transformer bucket begins processing, the undersize material falls through the bottom screen and can be tipped directly into a truck or processing plant. The oversize remains in the bucket and can be tipped onto a stockpile. An added bonus is the bucket’s ability to handle wet material without clogging, which is often a serious challenge in clay-bound areas.

Blade thicknesses determine the fragment size of the end-product and ALLU has a range of blades than can easily be changed onsite to produce required fragment sizes.

ALLU units fit for almost any base machine, excavators, loaders and skid steers from 8t to 160t.

Minimised Downtime With Allu Mobile App

Using IoT technology, the ALLU App provides information about the working hours and instructions to guide the operator through safe working methods such as the right angle of inclination when using the ALLU attachment throughout the whole operating and ownership process.

In order to maintain maximum productivity on the site and to minimise equipment downtime, the ALLU Mobile Application (ALLU App) provides information about the ideal maintenance frequency and the changing of wear parts, based on the number of working hours.

Australia-Wide Network

Sales, parts and servicing of the ALLU Transformers is taken care of by a dedicated dealer in each state. The network includes:

  • Walkers Hammers (Victoria)
  • Groundtec (NSW)
  • QLD Rock Breakers (QRB) (QLD and NT)
  • Total Rockbreaking Solutions (TRS) (WA)
  • Renex Equipment (SA)

The Purpose Designed ALLU Crusher Launched

ALLU, the manufacturer of the ALLU Transformer and Processor range of material handling attachments, is introducing its latest development – the new ALLU Crusher.

The new heavy-duty range of ALLU crushing attachments have been purpose designed to meet the requirements of the demolition, recycling and quarrying industries. The new ALLU Crusher equipment will complement the existing ALLU offering such as ALLU Transformer D series attachment buckets that were designed to deliver a one-step screening and loading solution for use in soft rock processing applications, handling of sand and gravel aggregates, material loading at ports, de-clumping of hardened materials and processing of green waste and compost materials.

Troublesome Demolition Materials Effectively Reduced

Jeroen Hinnen, Vice President of Sales for ALLU Group, says of ALLU’s latest development: “By bringing this new product line to market we have been able to provide customers with what they have been looking for. The ALLU Transformer range offers unique productivity and efficiency benefits on soft rock and other materials, whilst the ALLU Crusher range enables hard rock, and often troublesome demolition materials, to be effectively reduced.

All ALLU equipment is focused on helping businesses transform their green credentials. This is achieved because less material is transported to the jobsite, meaning a reduction in fuel consumption, less material sent to landfill and the more efficient utilisation of waste materials.”

The global launch of the new ALLU Crusher series will initially include three models for excavators in the 10 to 33 tonne range. Each model has purpose developed features that make their use even easier and optimise their onsite performance, whilst providing easy maintenance in the field.

Amongst the many customer focused features included on the new ALLU Crushers are:

• Reversible crushing: This reduces the potential for jamming, blockages, or obstruction with rebar avoided, whilst delivering greater levels of production and reducing the need for any manual involvement in the crushing process.

• Feed plate design built into the jaw: Ensures that the feeding function in a fully loaded chamber delivers high rates of production with minimal risk of bridging.

• Simple mechanical pin adjustment for output size regulation: Makes the entire crushing process easy and safe with quick adjustment for various output specifications.

• The crusher ‘opens like a clam’: Through this design easy and quick replacement of wear parts is ensured through ease of access, saving time spent on maintenance, thereby minimising risk to operators and maximising productive crushing.

Data Acquisition

Processing data is of huge value to production and financial personnel and the large ALLU buckets tick that box too. Using IoT technology, the ALLU App provides information about the working hours and the right angle of inclination used by the ALLU Transformer. In order to maintain maximum productivity on the site and to minimise equipment downtime, the ALLU App provides information about the ideal maintenance frequency and the changing of wear parts, based on the number of working hours.

Furthermore, The ALLU App provides instructions to guide the operator through safe working methods when using the ALLU attachment throughout the whole operating and ownership process.

Australia Wide

ALLU buckets are distributed to over 30 countries around the world and are available across Australia via dedicate ALLU dealer network: Walkers Hammers (VIC/ TAS); Groundtec (NSW); QLD Rock Breakers (QLD / NT); Renex Equipment (SA); Total Rockbreaking Solutions (WA).
