ALLU is delighted to announce this year we will have a strong presence at BAUMA with our Partners instead of exhibiting as a company. ALLU will strengthen the support to their local/international business partners.

ALLU is delighted to introduce Daniel Lexander, Dealer Manager for South East Asia

Daniel has joined the ALLU family as Dealer Manager for South East Asia.  Daniel studied as a mechanical engineer and has been working in Sales since 2005. Daniel has had various roles primarily based in the Middle East and expanding into other regions. Daniel has previously worked as a Sales Engineer, General Manager and Sales Director.

In his spare time Daniel enjoys Reading, travelling and various sporting activities.  We are Delighted to welcome Daniel to the ALLU Family, where he brings a solid Sales and management background to the role.

Introducing the new ALLU VELOCI screening buckets.

ALLU VELOCI

ALLU VELOCI is designed for compact size excavators, loaders, telehandlers, tractors, and skid steers.

ALLU is delighted to launch the NEW ALLU VELOCI Series for compact sized excavators, loaders, telehandlers, tractors, and skid steers. The shell of the ALLU VELOCI screening bucket is made from steel with fully welded joints. This construction has been tested and guaranteed for the maximum operating load.

ALLU VELOCI‘s screening stars are made from polyurethane material which allows the material to fall through without crushing or shredding material. Large material and debris is left in the bucket while separated from reusable material. This feature is  especially handy with composting when the vegetation is left in the bucket and separated from the reusable material rather than being shred into the end product.

ALLU VELOCI screening buckets are designed for maximum efficiency. The ALLU VELOCI screening stars create a rotating motion inside the bucket, screening and mixing the material, producing a quality end product for use.

Merja Vänskä joins ALLU Finland as Finance Controller.

ALLU is delighted to introduce Merja, the Finance Controller for ALLU Group. She will be leading as Finance Controller for our ALLU Entities. Merja started her career over 20 years ago. Graduating with a Finance degree, she has worked for a few different European companies in Finance and also is a qualified Primary Nurse! Merja brings a solid International Finance background to her new role at ALLU.

Merja says: “My first month at ALLU has felt like coming home. It’s a great family style culture and I have felt really integrated. I am able to shape and transform the direction we are taking and it’s a really exciting challenge. When I am not at work, I enjoy various crafts, reading and watching movie, crime series. I have also recently taken up going to the gym. I am really excited to be at ALLU and working with you all”.

ALLU Stabilization is one step ahead, providing a proven sustainable green solution for Ash ponds.

We are all aware of the environmental impact of coal ash in the USA. With potential hazards to both the air and water being a concern to all parties involved. Loose particles of fly ash can float in the air to surrounding communities, causing various respiratory issues to nearby residents. Both abandoned and operational ash ponds have a high potential to seep into the groundwater carrying chemicals such as lead, arsenic and mercury to the municipal water supply.

What to do with these ponds has been at the center of much debate throughout the power generation providers along with environmental advocates. Finding an acceptable solution that would provide a safe permanent, solution that was economically feasible has been a challenge. The EPA permits two methods, closure in place and closure by removal. Each method presents it’s own challenges and downsides.

Closure in place or “capping” the pond is typically done using a process known as “bucket mixing” which is accomplished by dumping sacks of powdered binder (usually Portland Cement) onto the surface of the pond (NON-METERED). The binder is then mixed using the buckets of a tracked excavator. A shallow cap is formed as the cement hardens. Though much less expensive than removal. The main problem exists beneath the “cap” moisture remains in the unstable contaminated soil allowing continued seepage into the groundwater. The capped ground is unsuitable for building and difficult to repurpose. Additional dust pollution is also created during the bucket mixing process.

Closure by removal minimizes the overall risk of ground water pollution but presents it’s own set of problems. Compared to closure in place costs, removal costs and time can add up to more than five times that of in place closure. Relocation to an approved dump site (land fill) may also prove difficult with dust and contaminates being released during transport. Regulation of the dump site can also be difficult. If not properly maintained these sites can be affected by the wind carrying the reclaimed dust great distances. Storm water can seep through the ash and continue to contaminate ground water.

Deep pond stabilization provides an innovative solution that solves problems present in both capping and removal.  The ALLU Soil Stabilization System has been used throughout Europe for more than a decade. The system uses a powerful mixing head attached to the boom of a mid sized excavator. The  mixing head is fed a dry binder by a computer controlled high pressure feeder creating a homogeneous mix. Unlike bucket mixing; the system is capable of depths beyond 20’. The ash pond is stabilized from the bottom up and not just at the surface. The feeding system regulates with precision the exact amount of binder prescribed by the engineer to fully encapsulate the contaminated site. (BINDER COST CONTROLLED)

As  it is now a solid mass. Potential ground water contamination along with dust pollution from wind, rain or during transportation are eliminated. Costs are controlled by removing the need to build and maintain dump sites. Less fossil fuels are used without the need to transport to an off site location. A solid surface remains that continues to harden over time allowing a re-purposing of the existing ash containment pond. A truly green sustainable solution. ALLU China, launches the New DC Series for the Chinese market.

ALLU is delighted to launch the NEW ALLU TRANSFORMER DC Series for the Chinese market.  ALLU opened its new Chinese manufacturing plan in 2021, after listening to the needs of customers. It was clear ALLU needed a local facility to grow and support our Chinese customers. Investing in a local manufacturing facility has enabled ALLU to make products tailored to the local market requirements.

Introducing the new DC Series, which ALLU have tailored just for the Chinese market this will strengthen our support to our customers and operational presence, to help grow the region whilst being competitive in the local market”
