SWEDISH CONTRACTOR TRANSFORMS OPERATIONS WITH THE ALLU D-SERIES

The ALLU Transformer D-Series is a range of attachments purpose designed for a variety of precision screening and material processing applications, transforming business operations wherever used. Highlighting the unique attributes of a highly productive range, Swedish contractor Johan Kits, has since 2014 successfully used the range for a variety of projects, transforming material arising from recycling, blasting and excavating.

The ALLU Transformer D and DL-Series comprises of an excavator/ loader/ tractor mounted attachment which screens, crushes, aerates, blends, mixes, separates, feeds and loads materials. This results in the feed material being effectively transformed into highly valuable products, making businesses more efficient, and more profitable.

The Transformer D and DL-Series have proved their value in a variety of applications; these include landscaping, pipeline padding, recycling and agricultural applications, crushing and screening, transforming soil, waste and debris processing. The unique attributes of the series means that all work can be carried out on site, with this truly mobile solution providing the versatility and flexibility to enable more efficient work even in the most challenging of environments.

One such business that has enjoyed the benefits of the ALLU Transformer range is Swedish company Kits Contractor AB. Johan Kits bought his first ALLU Transformer in 2014, with the attributes of the equipment meaning that Johan and his team were able to take on more projects. Johan soon found that the Transformer was too small for his needs, so in 2015 he changed it to an ALLU DN 3-12, which he still owns and operates. Johan did not stop there; in 2017 he bought a DS 4-17, and in 2018 added a DH 4-17 for pre-and-rough crushing and screening.

Johan Kits’ Transformers are highly flexible and are able to operate mounted on most excavators / loaders. Johan’s latest acquisitions are mounted on a Liebherr 140 (ALLU DN3-12) and a Volvo L90 (ALLU DS4-17). The DN 3-12 is currently configured to produce 0-30mm materials, whereas the DS 4-17 is configured to 0-16mm.These configurations provides Johan with the flexibility and productivity he needs for his varied and very busy business.

VARIED BUSINESS INTERESTS

Kits Contractor AB was established in 2011 and now employs 12 permanent staff; the company also takes on temporary contracting staff as the need arises. Johan’s main business is recycling construction waste, as well as blasting. The ALLU Transformers have proved their worth many times over working on different job sites, where the transportability and flexibility of the ALLU equipment has come into its own.

“We use the material (transformed by the ALLU equipment) on different job sites, although we do sell it to other companies as well. Mostly the buyers (of the material) are other contractors and they use it mostly for landscaping projects. But a lot of material we use is for ourselves,” says Johan Kits concerning the recycled material following processing by the ALLU Transformers. As to why he chose the ALLU equipment, Johan continued, “ALLU is a well-known brand/company and its reputation is excellent. It offers low investment combined with high capacity even in bad conditions and is simple to operate.”

At the heart of the Transformer D-Series is the unique top screen of its bucket. This is where the screening blades spin between the top screen combs with the end material size being defined by the space between the combs. Effectively these screening combs carry most of the material weight to ensure the drums and bearings take on less impact and load. This construction is clog-free and maintains good capacity even with wet materials

The Transformer D and DL-Series have been designed to be mounted on excavators, tractors and backhoe loaders. This means they are ideally suited to the requirements of companies requiring limited, yet profitable, material separation, crushing, screening and processing as Johan Kits has found to his benefit.

ALLU PROCESSOR SERIES REACHES, MIXES AND PROCESSES

The ALLU Processor is a power mixer attachment which converts any excavator into a powerful and versatile mixing tool capable of penetrating and effectively mixing a variety of difficult materials. Materials suited for the attachment range from clay, silt, peat, sludge and sediment, to dredged material and contaminated soil.

INTRODUCING THE ALLU PROCESSOR 300 HD

Working to a depth of 3m, and with a weight of 2,095kg (+400 kg fabricated mount plate), the Processor 300 HD is designed to be durable. It’s made from wear resistant steel, with a stem that’s engineered to be strong, streamlined and lightweight. Fitted to, and powered by the excavator’s hydraulic system, and benefitting from its ability to reach difficult or soft areas, the Processor 300 HD is able to mix materials everywhere the excavator goes. This means that binders or chemical agents can be delivered to the area of the highest mixing shear by an attached 80mm diameter pipe, and injected via a nozzle located between the mixing drums.

The Processor is equipped with automatic torque adjustment valves located between the two hydraulic motors, with drum rpm and temperature sensors, as well as sensors for oil leakage detection inside the frame construction. The excavator operator is thus able to control the rotational direction of the drums to adjust for most effective mixing. 2m and 3m extension tubes are also available as options for added working depth. These features make it the ideal tool for civil engineering, demolition, site remediation and coastal facility ground stabilization projects.

MORE POWER TO THE OPERATOR – 500HD

As with its smaller sibling the 300 HD, the Processor 500 HD is both durable and strong. It differs from the smaller 300 HD by being even bigger and by being able to work to a depth of 5m with a weight of 2,445 kg (+400 kg fabricated mount plate). Despite its strength, the wear resistant steel stem is both nimble and streamlined, and is again powered by the excavator’s hydraulic system. It is able to reach difficult or soft areas, meaning that the Processor 500 HD can mix materials everywhere the excavator goes, with binders or chemical agents being delivered to the area of the highest mixing shear by an attached 80mm diameter pipe. The Processor is equipped with automatic torque adjustment valves located between the two hydraulic motors, with drum rpm and temperature sensors, as well as sensors for oil leakage detection, located inside the frame construction. The excavator operator controls the rotational direction of the drums to adjust for most effective mixing. 2m and 3m extension tubes are also available as options for added working depth. In effect both ALLU Processors provide a variety of uses, as they essentially reach, mix and process whether the material is wet or dry. This has made them ideal in constructing temporary roads, solidification and soil remediation projects, dealing with contaminated soil, excavation and pipeline works, as well as oil ponds and sand acid tar.

TRANSFORMING PRODUCTIVE OPERATIONS – ALLU M

The ALLU Transformer M-Series is a range of multi-faceted tools powered by the carrier they are mounted on. These hydraulic attachments help with quick and efficient material production in quarries or mining operations, solve chute blockages and other material flow problems, and transport frozen or saturated material heaps.

The ALLU M-Series transforms the carrier it is mounted on (loader or excavator) into a high capacity mobile crusher or screener. The Transformer M-Series attachment crushes the material, separates hard unwanted impurities in the rock mass, while loading the dump truck or conveyor system. This makes it ideal for the processing of soft rock and minerals, with the M-Series delivering simultaneous mobile crushing, separating, enrichment and loading.

Boosting productivity and delivering operational efficiency, the Transformer M-Series adapts to the processing needs and rock mass it encounters. Different drum configurations of 50mm (2”), 75mm (3”), 100mm (4”) and 150mm (6”) mean differing fragment sizes may be processed with high productivity in ‘One Step’. The entire process is fully mobile, and can replace conventional crushing and screening plants in many cases. Furthermore, processed material is of a uniform quality, enabling the transportation of the material by dump truck immediately following processing.

The Transformer M-Series can easily handle in ‘One Step’ any materials that have hardness of 1 to 4 on the Moh scale. By applying the correct amount of crushing force together with the correct drum type the attachment also efficiently separates, while crushing the soft material, any hard unwanted materials in the rock mass.

The Transformer M-Series has been developed specifically for those companies who deal with large amounts of material on a regular basis. It has been designed to fit excavators and wheel loaders of up to 160t (154.4 US t), being able to screen and crush materials from 15mm (0.59”) to 150mm (5.9”).
