ALLU INTRODUCES ALLU ‘TWO IN ONE’ COMPACTOR AT BAUMA 2019

ALLU will be unveiling its latest developments and launching new and exciting solutions at bauma 2019. These cover a variety of applications, with one such new development being ALLU’s highly versatile and robust Compactor which is set to be an essential tool on any construction site.

ALLU ‘TWO IN ONE’ COMPACTOR

The ALLU Compactor attachment is a hydraulic attachment for excavators ranging from 1.5t to 60t and combines several functions in a single attachment, enabling excavation, backfilling and compaction using just a single unit. Thanks to an imbalance generated, the compactor ‘bucket’ replaces a compactor or a plate vibrator, with any vibrations being eliminated via rubber oscillation elements. In excavator mode, the bucket is locked in position via a hydraulic cylinder, allowing the compactor bucket to be operated as a normal excavation tool.

The ALLU Compactor is highly versatile, robust and of a practical design making it a true all-rounder, and indispensable on any construction site, with compaction being made more efficient and effective. Greater utilisation of the base machines ensures that compaction costs are optimised, meaning no additional personnel are required, with significant savings in time, and a quick return on investment. Vertically arranged damper elements ensure extremely quiet operation and controller oscillation through maximizing the transfer of force into the ground. The main benefits are:

  • Efficient working through adjustable frequency and force
  • Excellent depth of penetration
  • Transforms any base machine into a compacting unit
  • Reduces the downtime at jobsites as one base machine can be used to execute several tasks
  • Oscillation element keeps the noise and vibration at minimum levels
  • Risk of accidents are minimized
  • No extra emissions
  • Controlled compacting reduces the damages to pipes and the surrounding areas

The ALLU Compactors are ideal for many applications, but are purpose designed for:

  • Underground construction
  • Road and street construction
  • Groundworks and earthmoving
  • Superstructure construction
  • Garden and landscape construction
  • Cable and pipeline laying

ALLU’s compactors will be exhibited and demonstrated throughout the bauma at the ALLU stand which will be located at FN.1021/2 in the open area, north.

ONE UNIT –SEVERAL FRAGMENT SIZES WITH NEW ALLU TS® BLADE STRUCTURE

The patented unique ALLU TS® blade structure has been developed by ALLU which has long been a pioneer developing solutions to improve the productivity of a customer at different kinds of jobsites. The ALLU TS® blades are a modern development for the attachment screener / crusher market, with ALLU set to deliver new levels of efficiency and productivity with the new blade variations, with the new blade structure further enabling customers to utilize their ALLU Transformer in more than way.

At the core of the ALLU TS® drum construction is the configuration of the screening blades that spin between the screening combs. The end product size is defined by the space between the combs, and different fragment sizes can be achieved simply by repositioning the combs. As the screening combs carry most of the material weight, the drums and bearings experience less impact and load, with the design of the assembly ensuring the machine works well in wet and dry materials without clogging.

The ALLU TS® drums are available with two different blade types: standard blades for screening applications and axe blades when a crushing or shredding effect is required. Blade sizes available include 16-32mm, 25-50mm and 35 mm. The latest ALLU development to the ALLU TS® assembly enables several different fragment sizes from same unit. Fragment size estimation is based on screening comb distance, with it being quick and easy to change from one screening job to another, providing more versatile processing. Due to ALLU TS®’s self-cleaning design, it allows the best possible capacity even with wet materials, termed a non-clogging structure.

MORE BLADE VARIATIONS WITH ONE ALLU

With doubling and tripling options, ALLU now has the widest range of blade variations on the market. The single blade set up positions two or three blades in a single position, with one screening comb between every blade. The possibilities for blade thicknesses in this assembly are 8, 16, 25 and 35mm. With the double blade setup, two blades have the same position moving together with two screening combs between the doubled blades. The possibilities for blade thicknesses in this assembly are 16, 32, 50 and 70mm. The tripled blade set up has three blades in the same position that move together. The possibilities for blade thicknesses in this assembly are 24, 48, 75 and 105mm. By changing from a single blade setup to one that is doubled or tripled blade, the estimated fragment size can be changed from single to double or triple. One ALLU – several fragment sizes.

As such an important trade show, ALLU will reaffirm its commitment to the Chinese and Asian markets by exhibiting a cross section of its Processor and Transformer technology.

THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR CONSTRUCTION

The ALLU Transformer Series will be a significant part of the ALLU offering at bauma China. This comprises of an excavator/ loader/ tractor mounted processing bucket which screens, pulverizes, aerates, blends, mixes, separates, crushes, feeds and loads materials. This results in the feed material being effectively transformed into highly valuable products, making any business more efficient, and more profitable.

Catering for applications of all sizes, and capable of processing any material that can be screened and sorted, the ALLU Transformer Series comprises of the compact DL & D Series as well as the truly massive M and G Series. All are designed to transform the way in which material handling and processing businesses are able to improve their efficiency and profitability. The latter have proved themselves on truly massive quarrying and surface mining applications throughout the world, being designed for use by excavators up to 300 tonnes.

The ALLU Transformer, whatever its size and configuration, is ideal for processing concrete, waste, soil, sand, rocks and minerals as it also aerates, as well as screening, loading and processing, all of which can be carried out on site. This truly mobile solution provides the versatility and flexibility to enable work to be accomplished more efficiently even in the most challenging environments. This results in substantial savings in material and transport costs, as no time is lost when waiting for replacement material. Additionally, binders can be mixed if the material handling includes additive requirements or stabilization.

ALLU PROCESSOR

Also featuring at bauma China will be the ALLU Processor. This is a hydraulic power mixer attachment which converts any excavator into a powerful and versatile mixing tool capable of penetrating and effectively mixing a variety of difficult materials. Such materials suited for the attachment range from clay, silt, peat, sludge and sediment, to dredged material and contaminated soil.

INTRODUCING THE ALLU PROCESSOR 300 HD

Working to a depth of 3m, and with a weight of 2,095kg (+400 kg fabricated mount plate), the Processor 300 HD is designed to be durable. It’s made from wear resistant steel, with a stem that’s engineered to be strong, streamlined and lightweight. Fitted to, and powered by the excavator’s hydraulic system, and benefitting from its ability to reach difficult or soft areas, the Processor 300 HD is able to mix materials everywhere the excavator goes. This means that binders or chemical agents can be delivered to the area of the highest mixing shear by an attached 80mm diameter pipe, and injected via a nozzle located between the mixing drums.

MORE POWER TO THE OPERATOR – 500HD

As with its smaller sibling the 300 HD, the Processor 500 HD is both durable and strong. It differs from the smaller 300 HD by being even bigger and by being able to work to a depth of 5m with a weight of 2,445 kg (+400 kg fabricated mount plate). Despite its strength, the wear resistant steel stem is both nimble and streamlined, and is again powered by the excavator’s hydraulic system. It is able to reach difficult or soft areas, meaning that the Processor 500 HD can mix materials everywhere the excavator goes, with binders or chemical agents being delivered to the area of the highest mixing shear by an attached 80mm diameter pipe.

Both Processors’ are equipped with automatic torque adjustment valves located between the two hydraulic motors, with drum rpm and temperature sensors, as well as sensors for oil leakage detection located inside the frame construction. The excavator operator controls the rotational direction of the drums to adjust for most effective mixing. A 2m extension tube is also available for both models as option for added working depth.

In effect both ALLU Processors provide a variety of uses, as they essentially reach, mix and process whether the material is wet or dry. This has made them ideal in constructing temporary roads, solidification and soil remediation projects, dealing with contaminated soil, excavation and pipeline works, as well as oil ponds and sand acid tar.

NEW SOLUTION FOR ASIAN CUSTOMERS

As well as the above equipment, ALLU will be introducing for the very first time to its Asian and Chinese customers a two-way solution aimed at maximising investment. The ALLU-App will be shown and demonstrated, enabling visitors to see at first-hand how ALLU is about much more than the supply of world-leading equipment.

With the widest range of attachments on the market, ALLU looks forward to showing at first-hand how it can help any business transform more than just its profits.
